Hi guys!

What's up? This is Zarar here. When I'm not playing a sport or cheering on my favorite sports team, I'm probably tinkering away in my garage, dreaming up new inventions. Building things has been my passion since I was a kid, and there's nothing quite like the satisfaction of seeing an idea come to life. Of course, it's even better when I can share the fun with my friends. Whether it's taking our homemade drones for a spin or cruising around in my latest project (spoiler alert: it's electric!), there's no crew quite like mine. So stick around, and you might just learn a thing or two about building, creating, and having a blast along the way!

My fascination with vehicles began at a young age, fueled by the thrill of creation and a desire for sustainable solutions. At just 9 years old, I embarked on my automotive journey with a rudimentary car crafted from recycled materials. Imagine a simple box-shaped body, powered by a basic battery and motor circuit . While crude, this project ignited a passion for understanding how things moved.

As I matured, my projects became more sophisticated. I delved into the world of Arduino, a versatile microcontroller platform, to construct Arduino cars. These vehicles boasted Bluetooth connectivity, allowing for remote control and programmable maneuvers . This foray into electronics deepened my understanding of car mechanics and control systems. My ambitions soared even further as I ventured into the realm of aerial robotics, building drones that zipped and soared through the air. The ability to pilot these marvels ignited a passion for aviation and the challenges of unmanned flight.

My journey culminated in the ultimate challenge: building a low-cost electric car. This wasn't just about the thrill of creation anymore; it was driven by a desire to address a pressing need in my country, Pakistan. Pollution in major cities like Lahore is a growing concern, and the high cost of traditional fuel vehicles makes them inaccessible to many. Low-cost electric cars offer a sustainable and affordable solution, aligning perfectly with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for clean and affordable energy (SDG 7) and sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11). Imagine a future where the streets of Pakistan are filled with these eco-friendly vehicles, offering cleaner air and a more sustainable future for all. This is the vision that motivates me to push the boundaries of innovation and make electric cars a reality for everyone.

In 2020, I Co Founded The Tech School, a unique educational program that combines teaching in-demand tech skills with giving back to the community. We offer a variety of exciting tech courses, and I wear many hats – I design the curriculum, lead the classes, and am passionate about creating a supportive learning environment where everyone can thrive. Importantly, The Tech School goes beyond traditional classrooms by offering philanthropic initiatives to make sure education is accessible to all.
